Data-Driven Modeling of Vehicle-to-Grid Flexibility in Korea

With the widespread use of electric vehicles (EVs), potential to utilize them as flexible resources has increased. However, existing vehicle-to-grid (V2G) studies have focused on V2G operation methods. The operational performance is limited by amount availability resources, which represents flexibility. This study proposes a data-driven modeling method estimate A charging station control point connected power grid for operation. Therefore, stations’ statuses were analyzed applying basic queuing model with dataset 1008 chargers (785 AC and 223 DC chargers) from 500 stations recorded in Korea. obtained long-term average status values over entire time period.
